STAR RATINGS GUIDE

The Walking Friends. See what I did there? Yes, I know it doesn't work.

THE BIRDICT

Okay. Okay. Um. Did someone say free zombie audiobook? Because when I heard that, the excitement was embarrassingly, child-on-Christmas-birthday-morning palpable.

Now, first off, read the blurb and heed the blurb. Have you read book 1 first? No? What are you doing here? Shoo. Come back once you have read it.

Done that? Excellent. This is Peter's side story. It's a sort of detour in the overall plot, but a short and worthwhile one. It's no different from an author catching up with another character in a book to delay the main action. I only saw this book once I'd read book 2, so I was thrilled for the extra content. A little bonues direct from SLF to the fans.

SQUAWKING THE TALK

Julia Whelan has a very good Peter voice. It's still obviously a female narrating, but it is subtly huskier and lower. I wonder though if they ever considered re-recording this with the male voice from later series.

THE BLURB

**WARNING**

This novella contains major spoilers from the novel Until The End of the World. It's suggested you read the novel before you hear So Long, Lollipops. Unless you're someone who likes to read the last page of a book first - in that case, enjoy!

Peter watched his new family drive away, certain it was the last time he'd ever see them. But sometimes plans go awry in the best way. Now, the plan is to get back to them. But sometimes plans go awry in the worst way.

Sometimes the only plan is to believe it will be all right, even when it's almost impossible to believe.
