STAR RATINGS GUIDE

THE BIRDICT

Paula Wilcox is an absolute star as the narrator. Quirky and charming as 10 year old Grace, she is also incredibly versatile, doing a great job of differentiating characters. Telling the story from Grace's perspective completely transforms what might otherwise be a true crime story into something far more playful and innocent. The depiction of a small town in the seventies is well observed and evocative.
